Beaver 84, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of non mechanical access equipment, has donated its new SIG-TRAK ground protection mat for the Radio 2 Drivetime Magnificent Seven charity event in aid of Children in Need.

The charity event saw seven of the most desirable Ferrari sports cars in the world auctioned on air by DJ Chris Evans back in November 2008, with the successful bidders being invited to drive the cars from London to the New Forest on Thursday 02 July. 

Exclusive to Beaver 84, the SIG-TRAK is the very first UK designed and manufactured temporary access and ground protection mat, and was used at the charity event to create a temporary roadway for the collection of Ferrari’s to be parked on once they arrived at Chewton Glen Hotel in the New Forest.

The SIG-TRAK mat is made from 100 per cent recycled high-density polyethylene and is 100 per cent recyclable. It has an unique non-slip self cleaning traction system that can take weights of up to 60 tonnes. Coupled with this, the mat is able to disperse weight ensuring the ground is not damaged and has unique safety options including non-slip chevrons, reflective cats eyes for night safety and various connection methods for different scenarios.
