SCP Skills Academy

SCP believes training and developing employees is vital for success, employees are SCP’s biggest asset after all. The SCP Skills Academy was created to enable employees to learn new skills and maximise their potential.

Louise Laskey – SIG Fixings:

The Skills Academy has been an excellent experience and has helped me work with customers in a much better way.
I’ve developed some really important customer service including making sure that I fully discuss the project with the contractor, as they will tell me everything that I need to know to manager their order.
I’ve also learnt to have the confidence to suggest other products to a customer to make sure that we supply what they need to get the job done in the best way possible.

Judith Hampton – SIG Construction Accessories:

The Skills Academy course not only developed my customer service skills but also improved my confidence when dealing with customers. It gave me a great insight into some of the other companies within SCP and gave me a much greater understanding of the wide range of specialist products available.
I feel that I’m much better equipped to provide a good service to customers. I really enjoyed the course and found it a real benefit. I’m looking forward to putting what I’ve learnt to good use.

The Skills Academy gave me the self confidence boost I needed to move into a new environment.
